This morning as we ate breakfast, we pulled out the Canada map we acquired yesterday at AAA and began to figure out where we could go over the next couple of months. Do we want to venture into Canada now and head west through the provinces? We’d already begun to question whether the wildfires might dampen our enthusiasm for visiting California this fall then we began to look not only at the wildfires in southwestern Canada but the air quality in the western states. There’s one thing we really really want to do and that’s visit family in Salt Lake City so we’ll do that first. Then we’ll continue to watch the air quality reports and make plans as we go along!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
