Perched above Lake Roosevelt, we’re ensconced in Spring Canyon Campground on Site #18. It’s time to relax in this beautiful place. Yesterday after the T@B Breakfast we took time for mundane things like an oil change, getting one of our security keys replaced. Ask us how well Tile works for finding keys. Or not. We checked out The General Store in Spokane and discovered some colored LED lights designed for nighttime disc golf that are perfect for a tiny bathroom nightlight. Back at Peaceful Pines we took advantage of the laundry room. Then this morning we refueled and shopped for groceries before heading west toward Grand Coulee. So now it feels great to slow down and just sit and admire the view of the lake created by the building of the great Grand Coulee Dam!

Evening Update: The light here as the sun drops toward the horizon is phenomenal, not to mention the rainbow!

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week.
