For his Fourth Birthday Linus celebrated with a party with friends, a plethora of pies that he helped his Uncle Joel make, Duplo Construction blocks, a faceted crystal that makes rainbows, and a FaceTime chat with grandparents. He was fascinated with the images of the giant trees here in Olympic’s Mora Campground near Forks, Washington. He especially loved the experience of walking through a hole in a tree on Site#18 just across the road from us. We were tickled at the technology that that enabled us to be in a no hookups site on the other side of the country and be able to carry on a video conversation with this delightful little person and his Dad!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
