It’s been a great day for just chilling out. We took a short walk this morning to meet the owners of a nearby T@B 400. David & Agneta have been boondocking here in the Alabama Hills BLM since Tuesday. Mid-afternoon found us enjoying burgers at Mt Whitney Restaurant in nearby Lone Pine, California. The trip to town was mostly to get a Verizon signal and check for messages. From there we headed back past out T@B and out the Movie Road loop to make the easy hike to the Mobius Arch. Other than that we just enjoyed a very low keyed day. Lots of sitting outside, watching others come and go, a nap or two, reading, a little housekeeping, some more short walks after dark. This is a great place to unplug and unwind!
Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Over a long weekend we sampled some of the myriad things to do in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, unique among national parks for it’s environmental reclamation, historic preservation, and recreational opportunities adjacent to the populous cities of Cleveland and Akron in northeastern Ohio. Can’t wait to return and explore more.
