The long train ride was oh, so worth it when Linus saw us through the front door and excitedly ran to greet us! A bit of homemade cranberry bread and a cup of tea and the two of us were ready for fun with grandsons. Miles has grown so much since our last visit when he was just a week old. He’s now so interactive and fun. Linus couldn’t wait to take us upstairs to show us his Thomas the Tank Train Halloween costume. So much fun!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
