Kitty Cats and Good Friends

Family

One of the delights that we plan on every trip to Pinellas is a visit with Pete & Debi. Sometimes we’ll meet at a favorite eatery and other times we head to their place to just hang out for a while where they always ply us with good things to drink and delicious things to eat while we relax in their lovely back yard or gather inside their comfortable home. Today’s visit was at their house so that we could enjoy visiting with the other family members, Anne, Al, and the kitties. We talked crafts, cooking, cocktails, and technology and even trialed the Apple Watch Camera App to trip the shutter when we took our group selfie!

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

The purpose of our trek to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in the southwest of London was to see a recently recovered bronze bust of the Emperor Caligula but we discovered so much more in the recently restored 18th Century “little Gothic castle” built by Horace Walpole.
