While we have been spending the winter scanning old paper records and memorabilia – over eight thousand images so far, Sc@rlett has been snoozing under her cover. When our local friends would ask us, “When’s the next trip?”, we’ve responded that we don’t have anything planned until June. That changed today. We made reservation for a three night stay at Myrtle Beach Travel Park and a rendezvous with our northern Indiana friends, Patrick & Patty of Travels with Delaney. We’ll enjoy a change of scenery and a break from our current routine as well as an opportunity to hang out with friends for a bit.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
