The last two years we have been at Winklepleck to greet Amanda as she arrived prior to üCamp. This year the tables were turned and Amanda was waiting for us. She helped us locate the pedestal we will share with three other trailers and position ours with consideration for the boggy conditions just west of said power source. After a quick tour of her brand spanking new 2020 T@B 400, the three of us repaired to Bags Sports Pub in downtown Sugarcreek, Ohio for good food, refreshing libations, and a chance to catch up on the happenings of this past week since she left Tween Creeks the day after Deck Day.

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

The purpose of our trek to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in the southwest of London was to see a recently recovered bronze bust of the Emperor Caligula but we discovered so much more in the recently restored 18th Century “little Gothic castle” built by Horace Walpole.
