The time has come and we are on the move. Just as the day lilies, the coreopsis, and the leeks are blooming and the butterflies and hummingbirds are visiting the fuschia, we are headed out. It’s a lovely time of year in the North Carolina mountains but the road is calling. We’re headed to an overnight in Wytheville VA tonight then on to Sugarcreek OH tomorrow. üCamp19, the Third Annual üCamp Teardrop Trailer Rally will happen there June 10-14 at Winklepleck Grove. After that we’ll head out on our 2019 Summer Ramble. Our plan is to go to Boston, Massachusetts by way of Half Moon Bay, California.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
HAPPY TRAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
