The Redwoods called and we listened. We came home to Burlington. It’s our fourth stay in this magical grove and in fact our second stay on Site 53. Ever since we pitched a tiny tent under these glorious trees in 2008, Burlington has had a special place in our hearts. This time we reserved our site on ReserveCalifornia.com. It was a totally frustrating but ultimately rewarding experience. We’ve got three nights in this magical place. Our plans are to just sit back, relax, and enjoy our hammock while staring into the crowns of these majestic trees. The crowds have eased and most campers are staying just one night giving us some delicious solitude in the middle of the day. It’s fabulous!

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history.
