Our friends have hosted us for moochdocking and short term T@B storage behind their Connecticut home a few different times. It’s always a fun opportunity to spend time with them and a secure spot to leave our camper for a few days while we visit family in Boston. When we pulled in yesterday it felt rather routine, we’ve done this more than once before. What was different is that our hosts are out of town. It was a quiet evening on our own. We did take the opportunity to walk to a nearby Chinese takeout in between raindrops then settled in for a quiet evening. Now it’s a sunny Friday morning and we’re packed and ready to head to Boston for a weekend of family fun!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
