The Canton, Ohio contingent of the family welcomed us for a delicious homemade dinner and an opportunity to learn about each other’s adventures since the last time we met. Of particular note were Dave & Amy’s travels in Europe and Riley & Peyton’s beach and Hogwarts exploits in Florida. And we were delighted to meet the newest family members, kittens Jean and Ruth who recently adopted the family. It’s nice to have a good dose of kittenish energy in the family now that Henry and Indiana have pretty much settled into a more dignified cat adulthood. The little ones didn’t want to hang around for portraits thought. Hopefully the feline brothers will develop and affection for the little feline sisters in the near future.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
