The journey from the East Sparta KOA to nüCamp RV in Sugarcreek, Ohio today was all of 23 miles! It was midday when we checked in with Austin and then settled Sc@rlett, our T@B 400, onto one of the courtesy campsites adjacent to the factory. Then as a follow up to a conversation with Creed, the tech guy for nüCamp, a few weeks ago, we headed over to the offices to check in with the Research and Development team. We wanted to offer them the opportunity to see one of the early T@B 400’s after nearly 500 nights of use and two trips all the way across the United States. Once that was done Ed offered to show us the prototype for the 2021 T@B-S that will debut at the Elkhart RV Show. It’s got some sweet new features that promise great user experience. We fell in love with the new diamond plate tongue box that will be fabricated in house. It sports a vented back and floor and is sized to easily house a 20 lb propane tank and two 6V batteries. It’s beautiful, sturdy, and practical. Yes, we have tongue box envy for sure!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
