This phase of our trip, since we left Illinois, it definitely more about visits with family and friends with occasional cool places to visit or outstanding eateries. We’re finding ourselves truly appreciating the time we can spend tucked into our T@B 400. Yesterday we arrived at the Boston/Cape Cod KOA at Middleborough, Massachusetts for a two night stay. The campground is pretty full on this gorgeous October weekend. Some of it may be for the local Crantoberfest. But we’ve been appreciating some down time. We did venture out for a fabulous dinner last evening and have plans to meet up with friends today but we’re not nearly so ambitious at going, seeing, doing as we could be. Sometimes it’s just good to slow down.

I need those days too. Just need to give myself permission and remember that I needed them when I was in a house as well. Safe travels!

We find it very important to just slow down, be a Hobbit for a little while.

Rally in the Adirondacks

Thanks to the organizational skills of Mandy & Kgreat weekend of endrick, the amazing support of their team, and the sponsorship of nüCamp RV we enjoyed a great weekend of camaraderie and fun at the Northeast Rally. Gathering with fellow teardrop aficionados is always an enriching experience and this gathering in the Adirondacks was no exception.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Over a long weekend we sampled some of the myriad things to do in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, unique among national parks for it’s environmental reclamation, historic preservation, and recreational opportunities adjacent to the populous cities of Cleveland and Akron in northeastern Ohio. Can’t wait to return and explore more.

Slow Journey Home

Slow Journey Home

Our journey from Portsmouth, England to our home in Ohio might have been accomplished in about sixteen hours but my avoiding air travel we were able to enjoy a fifteen day journey home via train, ship, Uber, train, as well as our own feet and finally our personal vehicle.
