Back in Bell@!

Full-Time Travels

Seven days ago we had the opportunity to retrieve Bell@, our 2021 T@B 400 from the nüCamp Service Center in Sugarcreek, Ohio where she’s been since October 7th. Back in May she was seriously damaged by two falling trees but still watertight and capable of travel until nüCamp could accommodate her into their schedule. During the repair we did get some photos of the process of replacing the roof and sidewall. It was and extensive operation. But now we’re back home in our camper. We’d needed to remove everything from the camper for the repair so we’re still in the process of settling back into what is now our full-time home. After picking her up late Friday afternoon we started moving our possessions out of their temporary storage back into the trailer but didn’t move ourselves back quite yet. Saturday night we slept in our own bed for the first time in a long time. It was wonderful! As we continue to get everything back in place and add a few more niceties, it’s feeling more and more like home. And that’s good, for this is our home for the foreseeable future. It’s our bedroom in the driveway enabling us to do longer visits with family, our Escape Pod when winter weather in our new home state gets frigid and messy, and our passport to new and exciting places. Life is an Adventure! Come along for the ride. If you haven’t already, we invite you to subscribe by scrolling to the very bottom of this page and entering your email address so you get alerted every time we do a new blog post. And that’s all you’ll get, no ads, no solicitations, just photos and stories of our life as we travel and adventure here and there.

Thanks! Yes, we did include an upgrade. Our propane disconnect is now on the passenger side and far easier to access. Let’s compare notes on travel plans to see where we might intersect!

Rally in the Adirondacks

Rally in the Adirondacks

Thanks to the organizational skills of Mandy & Kgreat weekend of endrick, the amazing support of their team, and the sponsorship of nüCamp RV we enjoyed a great weekend of camaraderie and fun at the Northeast Rally. Gathering with fellow teardrop aficionados is always an enriching experience and this gathering in the Adirondacks was no exception.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Over a long weekend we sampled some of the myriad things to do in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, unique among national parks for it’s environmental reclamation, historic preservation, and recreational opportunities adjacent to the populous cities of Cleveland and Akron in northeastern Ohio. Can’t wait to return and explore more.

Slow Journey Home

Slow Journey Home

Our journey from Portsmouth, England to our home in Ohio might have been accomplished in about sixteen hours but my avoiding air travel we were able to enjoy a fifteen day journey home via train, ship, Uber, train, as well as our own feet and finally our personal vehicle.
