Full-Time Travels, T@B 400

Five years ago we posted this on Facebook shortly after we completed a road test of nüCamp RV’s T@B 400 prototype. A few months later we placed an order for our very own 2018 T@B 400 and took delivery in May. Since then we’ve spent approximately half our nights camping in that and now our 2021 T@B 400. Who would have guessed back in January 2017 that five years later, we would have sold our precious mountain home to live in our T@B and travel full-time!

This month nĂĽCamp RV in Sugarcreek, Ohio plans to begin production of the T@B 400 travel trailer. We had the privilege and pleasure to road test this beauty for 15 nights in December. Our experience ranged from freezing nights in Ohio where the ALDE kept us toasty to sultry days in Florida when the CoolCat kept us chilled out. Our campsites ranged from full hookups including cable TV to dry camping in a national forest. We truly loved the comfort of the 60″x80″ queen size bed with FROLI support. The kitchen counter is spacious and the appliances quality. The 2way refrigerator was much more spacious than we expected. The storage in the kitchen, in the closet, under the bed, under one dinette seat, and in a number of cubbyholes was amazing. And they plan additional storage in the tongue box. The shower had a height of more than 6 feet and lots of elbow room. The dinette was very comfortable for the two of us and we were able to fit four people if we were willing to be cozy. We liked the fact that it could convert to a lounge and we found the guest bed to be quite comfortable. It’s got lots of LED lighting including some nice indirect lighting. This unit was equipped with a 200W rooftop solar panel and a Group 31 AGM battery which was great for our dry camping experience. And the battery and water tanks have level indicators inside the trailer. The windows are well placed for cross ventilation as well as an amazing amount of natural light. The stargazer window above the bed was one of our favorite features! We’ve traveled cross country in the past camping in tents then in a Little Guy Silver Shadow. Since July 2013 we have logged 48 states and more than 700 nights in our T@B-CS. This T@B 400 definitely takes us to the next level. Living in the T@B 400 felt like being at home on the road!

Welcome to the full time community! Your support in my earlier days of T@b travels played a large role in my decision to full time! The freedom is indescribable. Exciting days ahead. The world is your oyster (although that particular aphorism has never made much sense to me!) See you across the pond as your adventure expands.

Wicked The Musical

Wicked The Musical

Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

The purpose of our trek to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in the southwest of London was to see a recently recovered bronze bust of the Emperor Caligula but we discovered so much more in the recently restored 18th Century “little Gothic castle” built by Horace Walpole.
