Thanks for the birthday wishes. Spent the day after arriving at the rally connecting with old friends and getting to know friends we hadn’t met yet.

Hi Steve and Karen! Do you remember us from swing dancing? We’d love to be able to speak with you as we are thinking of following in your footsteps by moving north out of FL. Can you reach out to me on Facebook? Or email? I cannot find a way to message you directly. Diane Dempsey

      Hello Joshua!
Thanks for making a comment on our blog. We apologize for being so lax in blogging. We think we are now in a place where we will have the time and energy to start catching up and letting folks know about our adventures, and where to find some amazing falling off the bone ribs in Citronelle, Alabama. Don;t know if we’ll be able to make it to the Surrender Oak Festival this year, but whenever we return, we’ll be sure to get some rib from Grillbillies. Let’s do stay in touch and let us know if you venture out on any adventure travel.
      Cheers!

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

Wicked The Musical

Wicked The Musical

Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
