It’s here! It’s finally here! After a breakfast from the 9th Ave Gourmet Deli at the corner and some great coffee from Arvaci next door then making sure we were packed and ready, we summoned an Uber ride and enjoyed chatting with our driver. Now here we are at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, checked in, and waiting to be summoned to board. Got disappointing news this morning, friends we expected to see on board have had to reschedule their trip, we’ve promised to raise a glass to their future adventures. Now we’re about to hear the call us for to board. Let the party begin! Life is an Adventure!

Follow the Queen Mary 2 on Cruisemapper.

More photos later but we want to post this before we sail on under the Verrazano Bridge and lose our connectivity until next Friday.

Hello, we met you at Prison City Brewery on Saturday, August 12. NYC is always a fun and adventuresome trip, have a great time on that cruise!!!!
We just spent the past couple of weeks in Montreal, ME and Acadia National Park, an incredible start to our adventure!!
We’re on our way back home (to Sanborn, NY suburb of Niagara Falls, NY) for a couple weeks before we start heading south on September, 18th. We started posting pics of our travels on our blog. zwaraadentureZ.blogspot.com (it’s not as nice as your website, but it works for us).
    Enjoy your travels,
    Dave and Chellie Zwara

Cozumel & Grand Cayman

Aboard the Norwegian Jewel we’ve made stops in Cozumel, Mexico and Georgetown, Grand Cayman to explore beyond our previous experiences here. Soon we’ll be making our way to ports we’ve not yet explored in the Southern Caribbean.

Winter Magic in Medina

Winter Magic in Medina

By deliberate choice we were in Medina for all the winter holiday festivities from Candlelight Walk in the days before Thanksgiving through A Christmas Carol and A Celtic Christmas as well as an Alex Bevan Concert and a historic house tour all the way through Medina’s 31st Ice Festival but perhaps the highlight was the town hosting hundreds of folks whose homes and lives were devasted by Hurricane Helene at the A Promise of Christmas Event the middle of January. It’s an honor to be a part of this amazing community!
