We spent the early morning in Arches National Park. At the suggestion of a ranger, we hiked out to Landscape Arch and explored a little beyond but not so far as the Double O Arch. On the way into town at midday we saw a cattle drive, complete with cowboy on horseback. Then we went back into the park for sunset. Finished the day with dinner and local brew at the Moab Brewery.
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
What a fantastic journey. Your pics are unbelievable. What kind of camera do you have. Thank you for the wonderful continual blogs.
Love,
Jim & Sharon
WOW! Incredible! I am so loving this opportunity to live vicariously through you. Blessings & Love!
I’m glad to see that the arch in your large picture has survived – it looked pretty worn on the right side when I was there 7-8 years ago !!
