We are Steve & Karen from a small town known locally as Whee, which might explain the SKWhee website name! In 2008 when we embarked on an epic three and a half month cross country tent camping trip to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary, we wanted an easy way to stay in touch with family and friends and turned to blogging. Then as we discovered teardrop campers and fell in love with long rambling cross country journeys we continued to blog, for the fun of it as well as to stay in touch. Through the years we’ve taken our teardrops to every one of the lower 48 states multiple times and blogged along the way about the fun places we’ve discovered from major national parks to quirky roadside attractions, fabulous food and drink, and luxury campsites as well as boondocking experiences so that now our blog posts number nearly 2500. Through the years blogging software has improved and we can now offer links to more information or to videos to tell you even more about places of interest.
