NüCamp outdid themselves again this evening with a home cooked Amish dinner and John Schmid, an outstanding singer/entertainer. And so many of the folks from nüCamp came out to be a part of the festivities! The sense of community here is absolutely amazing!

Sarah invited us to visit behind the scenes at Dutch Creek Foods this morning to watch the process of preparing bulk foods from scratch. DCF is the central kitchen for several of the restaurants here in Ohio’s Amish country. Today’s project was Butterscotch...
nüCamp Then and Now
This evening all üCamp17 participants were invited to the factory where Joe Mullet treated us to a history of Pleasant Valley Trailers. Joe's journey from not even knowing what a teardrop trailer was to being the leader in the field over the course of fifteen years is...

Breakfast at TimberCrest
It wasn't planned, it just happened. As the morning progressed we five wandered out of our three teardrop campers carrying our bowls of cereal and mugs of morning beverage and gathered around a picnic table to tell tales of T@B adventures and misadventures. It's been...
Kindred Spirits
A reunion is a wonderful thing. When we learned Amanda would be arriving this afternoon in anticipation of üCamp17 next week, we made a point to be at Winklepleck when she arrived. We met at last year's gathering when she was a brand new T@Bber and immediately liked...
