As we celebrate Independence Day, we're pondering our own freedom to travel. Our ramble with our T@B-400 this summer will be divided into segments. From now until the last week of July is from Bloomington to Sugarcreek. Shall we explore just Indiana and Ohio? Shall we...

Burgers, Wings, and Stardust
Our Bloomington IN guides led us to their favorite burger place this evening. BuffaLouie's occupies a storied location across the street from the Indiana University campus, once occupied by The Book Nook where Hoagie Carmichael wrote "Stardust". It's a popular...
Sunday Brunch
Sunday found us back at Farm Bloomington perusing the Brunch Menu. The two of us settled on local interpretations of classics. The Hoosier Poutine added poached eggs to the classic french fries, cheese curds, and gravy dish. The Indiana Benedict featured sausage and...
And New Treads
On our first visit to Bloomington in the Fall of 2015 we were introduced to JL Waters Adventure Outfitters. Back then Emily outfitted each of us shoes that have served us well on mountain trails and city streets. We've worn the treads off the soles. Time for new ones....
A Bloomington Saturday
There's nothing like having local guides. Folks who know can lead you to the best Croissants and Iced Coffee at the amazing Farmers Market in Bloomington IN then stop at Rasta Pops to try some delectable gourmet popsicles, before leading you through a delightful...
A Sunny Day Encounter
Sunny Day and her person, Verna have chosen as their adventure this summer, camp hosting in Indiana's Yellowwood Forest. We chose an overnight stay here expressly for the purpose of spending time with the two, and it was most delightful to sit, share wine, talk T@B,...
Farm Bloomington

All the Veeps!
Huntington, Indiana, is home to the Dan Quayle Vice Presidential Learning Center. It's an amazing place to learn more about the forty-seven individuals who have served as second in command. It was also interesting to learn about some of the issues surrounding the...
The Apple Orchard
It's a primitive site in the Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area at Salamonie Lake near Andrews IN. Last night we had full hookups at a KOA. Tonight our fanciest amenity is running water at the community spigot! There are more developed campgrounds in the park but...

London’s Canals
The two of us have long been fascinated with the history of canals and their role in the history of transportation, industrialization, and more recently recreation. This stay in London has given us new opportunities to explore and learn more about how canals contributed to the growth of this great city and how they are being used and preserved today.
National Portrait Gallery
It was a most educational visit to the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery at Trafalgar Square in Central London. We were intrigued with the contemporary approach to presenting British History.
Bletchley Park
It was at Bletchley Park that the Allied Codebreakers deciphered German military messages during the Second World War. A free guided tour gave us a good overview of the campus and the activities that occurred here from 1938 to 1945.
