For outdoor cooking we carry this sturdy little butane stove as a next-gen replacement for the series of Coleman camp stoves we’ve used through the decades. This is lightweight, has a small footprint, is easy to use, and gives us another option beyond the T@B 400 indoor kitchen and the propane gas grill.
P.S. The difference between the SPRK and SPRK+ stoves seems to be just the latter is equipped with an igniter, a feature we appreciate.
We bought ours in person at JL Waters Outfitters in Bloomington, IN. It’s available online from Eureka!, Amazon, and other retailers.

Our T@B’s plumbing is rated for 50 psi but the water pressure in some campgrounds is greater, sometimes exceeding 100 psi. To protect our water filter, hose, and trailer plumbing we always use a brass water pressure regulator attached to the city water faucet. Since we’ve been known to leave one behind and because they are inexpensive, we always carry a spare.
***Special note: some 2022 nüCamp models had a built-in pressure regulator installed behind the Nautilus. This may be problematic. If you have a 2022 model, contact you dealer to see if yours is so equipped and if you need to have it removed.
Available from Amazon and a variety of retailers..
Or there’s a fancier one with a gauge They are also available at Camping World, RV supply stores, Walmart, Amazon, and more.
Since we are traveling as a couple, one of us can serve as a spotter while the driver backs into our campsite. For years we did reasonably well with hand signals but now really enjoy the luxury of walkie-talkies to give directions in plain English at a pleasant conversational volume. We’re still careful to be sure the driver can see the spotter in the rearview mirror and we always refer to directional adjustments as towards “driver’s side” or “passenger side” of the camper. We like to keep ours nestled in their charging station in the center console in the truck to have them together and handy to grab when needed as well as ready to charge on the rare occasions they need it.
We got ours from Amazon.

This portable compressor driven chest fridge/freezer runs off of battery or shore power and draws only about 2.5 amps on battery. We use it to double our refrigerator capacity or to have a nice sized freezer traveling with us. In the back seat area of our truck we run it off the truck battery while driving and off our Bluetti Power Station while we are parked. Apparently it’s currently not available but the Amazon page lists other similar items in the $250 price range, we just do not have experience with any of them. We’ve also heard good things about the Alpicool K25 Portable Freezer,12 Volt Car Refrigerator, 26 Quart
We got ours from Amazon.

This telescopic folding stool is surprisingly light and sturdy. It serves us in multiple ways. A side table next to our folding chairs, a rather comfortable guest chair, extra seating at the end of our T@B 400 dinette table, and a tabletop platform for our devices for video chats when it’s only partially expanded. It’s also fun as right height seating for kids.
As far as we know, it’s available only from Amazon.

This attractive table stores in a small package, sets up in just a minute, and adjusts easily from coffee table height to dining or desk height. We’ve found it easy to store, easy to set up or take down, and sturdy for our uses.
We’ve noticed the Beckworth table may no longer be available but found this well rated table KingCamp table on Amazon that appears to be quite similar.

These Pico Arm Chairs from GCI Outdoors are updated versions of the chairs we used for ten years starting in 2009 after getting our Silver Shadow teardrop camper. They are amazingly comfortable and so easy to pack up and carry with us. Not only that, they stow easily in the truck bed with all our outdoor furnishings.
It’s available from Amazon but we got ours from GCI Outdoors at a better price.

Chrome Storage Tubs from All Pro Adventures atop a Boondock platform to give us oodles of storage for our propane tank, fresh water hose and fittings, shore power cord and adapters, and lots of camp set-up equipment.
We got ours from All Pro Adventures

A hitch ball cover not only protects the hitch from the elements when you are not towing, it protects you from getting grease on yourself. When we’re towing, we store it on the ball of our hitch security lock. We’ve discovered that drilling a tiny hole in the side makes it easier to place and remove due to easing suction.

White lithium grease is essential for ease of hitch operation as well as to protect the hitch ball and prolong it’s life.
Reese Hitch Ball Lube is readily available from a variety of general and auto care retailers including Amazon, Walmart, etrailer, Camping World, NAPA, and many others.

When you slide the ball mount into the hitch receiver and secure it, you still have some play which at best is noisy but can cause trailer sway. The Quiet Hitch secures the mount into the receiver for a quieter and safer tow experience.
Available from Amazon and variety of retailers. Check your receiver before ordering. We use the Quiet Hitch 061 for our 2″ receiver.

Chocking both wheels in both directions is important and storing four full size chocks is easier if they nest. We like these dark gray Camco chocks.
Available from Amazon and a variety of retailers. They come in sets of two, we use two sets to chock both wheels in both directions.

More than a surge protector, it looks for faulty wiring before passing power through to the RV. Our older model EMA-PT30C has saved our T@B and appliances from damage due to over-voltage on more than one occasion.
Available online from a variety of retailers including Camping World, Walmart, and Amazon.

After years of using the standard Mopeka Tank Check but needing to replace it on an annual basis, we upgraded in in early 2023 to the Mopeka Tank Check Pro hoping for a longer service life. It still works the same as the standard Mopeka sensor, a little device that attaches to the bottom of our propane tank and sends a bluetooth signal to a smartphone app to give us an accurate percentage of propane left in our tank. Using ultrasonic technology, it’s by far the most accurate propane gauge available. Yes, it is secure on the bottom of the tank. We’ve traveled thousands of miles with it attached inside an open bottomed tongue box. We now have a floored tongue box and thus use the Mopeka Tank Halo to gain enough space for the sensor to fit under the tank.
When Travels with Delaney did a video on how to weigh your propane tank to check your level, we sent him a Mopeka Tank Check. He did a video on how it works and how he installed it.
Available from Ace, Camping World, Amazon, and more.

All of our trailers have come with a jockey wheel to support the trailer at the tongue. We have replaced ours with a tongue jack foot which allows us to level the trailer even on sites that slope from front to back and to give us better stability on uneven campsites.
Available from eTrailer, Camping World, Amazon and more.

These levels are inexpensive and easy to install on the tongue of the trailer, one for front to back and another for side to side. We use the adhesive pads provided and since we’ve lost one or two, we always carry a spare pair.
Available from Walmart, Camping World, Amazon, and many more retailers.

This device plugs into to the seven pin connector on the tow vehicle and is of particular use for determining power to the 12V Aux line which is needed for charging your RV battery while towing. Like two of our previous TVs, not all vehicles are delivered with the 12V Aux connected. If you don’t have power to the 12V, check with your mechanic, dealer, or owner’s manual for more information.
Available from a variety of auto and RV supply retailers and online from Amazon.

Speaking of the 7-Way connector, to keep the connection between the trailer and tow vehicle in top condition we clean it periodically with contact cleaner.
Available from Amazon, Ace, Walmart, and a wide variety of auto parts stores, and electronics suppliers, as well as online.

This inexpensive and handy device will assist you in loosening any sewer connection plug. Oh so useful when the previous user on your campsite was way too strong and you’ve already had a long day. Here’s a video.
Available from Walmart, Camping World, Amazon, and many more.

This Ivation Dehumidifier is our solution for those cool nights when you wake up with windows and walls covered with condensation from your own breath and as a by product of propane heat. This is a tiny dehumidifier for a tiny trailer, only 9″ tall with a quiet non-compressor technology and per this review, draws only 13.5 watts.

Initially we upgraded to a ten speed Fantastic Fan with a sensor but discovered that we’d prefer a fan with rain cover so that we can continue to operate it even in the rain. Here’s a Travels with Delaney video showing their MaxxAir fan in operation.

Through the years we have used a series of side rooms and awnings on our teardrop campers. Ultimately we’ve settled on the Isabella Sun Canopy for it’s amazing sturdiness. It promises to perform exceptionally well in the rain and doesn’t require guy lines which makes it much more useful in crowded campgrounds. The Isabella is European crafted. We purchased ours from All Pro Adventures in Sugarcreek OH.

There’s a wealth of options for outdoor mats/rugs to use with an RV but after wrestling with awkward folding and a series of colors that were excellent at showing the dirt, we settled on the Jalax Exterior floor from All Pro Adventures. The size is perfect outside our T@B 400, it’s easy to clean, and folds up into a sturdy carry bag that stows nicely and cleanly in the bed of the truck along side our other items we use under the awning.
